Benjamin Gakinya joined Block & Company, Inc., Realtors, in May 2025 as a Portfolio Manager. He has been in real estate for over 20 years, mostly in commercial real estate management. He now manages 20 shopping centers in the Kansas City Metro, fosters tenant and vendor relations, and works with property landlords.

Benjamin began his career in Columbia, MO, but moved to Kansas City in 2022 to live closer to family. He has a master's degree in Business Management from William Woods University and a master's in Real Estate Entrepreneurship from UMKC. Benjamin is a licensed broker and has a property management certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Benjamin is fluent in Swahili and enjoys playing pool, scuba diving, and traveling. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with and going on adventures with his children.
